Welcome! We are excited that you have joined us for Creation 2001 our 22nd year! Creation keeps growing in size, but our central message and purpose remains the same, we have gathered to make Creation 2001 “A tribute to our Creator.” The first Creation festival was held in 1979 in Lancaster, Pa. The Lord led us to start a festival that would speak to the contemporary youth culture. By God’s grace and through one rainout year we have arrived at Creation 2001! Each year the festival has brought top talent and speakers to the event to challenge people to follow Christ. People across the nation have been praying for Creation 2001 and for you. We believe that God will make this the “highlight of your summer and maybe you life!” This is a time and place to make choices to know Christ and to serve God. Allow the Holy Spirit to do a work of grace in your life. You are going to experience a great variety of people who love the Lord both on stage and in the crowd. No doubt you have your favorite bands and speakers, but be open to the message coming from others. Get to know some folks in this huge crowd and spend some time around the campsite. Break out the guitar and marshmallows! Treat each other with honor and respect and be sure to share your faith and testimony. Join us in prayer for these coming days of Creation 2001. Pray for those attending, the staff, musicians, speakers, children’s ministries and the surrounding communities. Pray for good weather and for safety and health for everyone. Above all, pray for lives to be transformed by the Lord as they hear the gospel of Christ Jesus. We gather in the Name of Jesus in the beauty of God’s Creation. We are blessed and enriched by God’s creativity expressed through talented musicians and teaching ministries. God is still the Creator and “… if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” (2 Cor. 5:17) Welcome to Creation 2001!
