we all slow down
and the sweaters come out
and you snuggle up close
and the apples smell sweet
we all slow down
and it's darker outside
and we walk in the park
and the trees become bright
we all slow down
and enjoy the cool breeze
and the crumbling leaves
and it feels like home.
