Voting Day Funny
This morning as I was getting ready for the day, my brother yells through the closed door. "You voting now?". I replied, "No...I'm getting dressed". So, the rest of the morning, we would chide each other back and forth..."What are you doing in there...voting?" (in a "what's taking you so long, kinda way"
I did go and vote first thing. I was a little weirded out by the "Poll Watchers". They reminded me of the Men in Black. I half expected one of them to whip out an oozie, or something. I approached line A-Z...gave my name which they then yelled out, then over to my left there were 4 guys and a woman sribbling and repeating my name...Stacey what? Stacey Gag-knee. I politely said Gone-Yay...G-A-G-N-E. But, they kind of ignored me and talked to the nice senior citizens manning the sign in.
When I arrived at the office, people had gotten stickers and Three Muskateer bars at their polling place. Not me...BOO HOO. I was robbed.
Hopefully, by tomorrow, the signs will be down and the tv commercials will return to the normal smut. Haha. Are you watching the results, tonight? I think I will at least for a while.

Personally, I will miss my daily phone messages from George W., but the TV ads and yard signs can definitely go. I'm sorry, I enjoyed my 3 Musketeers. Maybe next time.
