Thoughts
I'm opening envelopes, and decided to take a break to eat my lunch and write a quick blog. Yummy spinach wrap from S. Clyde Weaver.
This morning while eating my generic rice krispies, using milk I "borrowed" from my brother, I pawed through my cd's and selected a wide variety to bring along in my carry case to the hospital next Monday. From "Streams" to Over the Rhine to Steve Miller Band to Matt Goss Band to They Might Be Giants. One Week folks!!!! EGADS.
I wonder how long it will be before I can comfortably sit in a movie theatre? There are plenty of good movies out/coming out that I want to go see and it ain't gonna happen this week. I'll settle for DVD's for a while, I guess. Aaron and I have been joking about all the VH1 and Soap Operas I'll get wrapped up in. Oh yikes. Actually, I'm hoping to learn Cross Stitch, work on Christmas cards, color, and maybe do some painting if I'm up to it. I have no real idea how I'll feel except weak, sore and getting used to some changes. I may even try to work from home, but I'm not gonna push it.
I heard a horror story yesterday about somebody who the Dr left something inside of after surgery. How Not Comforting!!! Bring on the drugs...

It will be ok, Stace! Between your Mom & Dad and me and all of your other friends, we'll take care of you, and I don't think your surgeon will leave anything inside you. No worries!
