Online Listening

I think there can be something really wonderful about online streaming of radio. It makes the world seem a little smaller in some ways and bigger in others. Being able to hear great music from other parts of the country or even the world is such a treat....and for people like me who live far from home, it's a great way to hear a little of the accent, familiar voices, weather, and all the little things. It's also fun to eaves drop on what the day is like across the country. I've been listening to a great station out of Seattle today. and raving about it to just about everyone I've spoken to. My friend Trish gave me the hook up and for that I am grateful.

Just before typing this entry, I received an email from a WJTL listener who is in Australia and is overjoyed at being able to listen to the station she loves from overseas.

Technology can be a very great thing, can't it!?
