Yay, I did it
I did it, I went for an exercise walk last night. (as opposed to a leisurely stroll) Hopefully I can get into the habit of it again. It was nothing real long. Probably no more than 2 miles...but it was great...except for the several instances of road kill I walked by on the road, yuck! I thought it was going to rain on me, but I made it without melting. This morning it was still hard to get out of bed, but I had tons of energy last night. I'm going to get my pool pass renewed today so I can start swimming as soon as I get my new bathing suit. I love that the pool is right across the street from our building in the complex. So conveeeeeenient.
My friend Ann showed me a newspaper article yesterday about Krispy Kreme coming out with sugar-free doughnuts and iced drinks. It seems the Low Carb craze has effected them, too. That's pretty interesting to me. I have never been the biggest Krispy Kreme fan, although I do like their glazed doughnuts. Perhaps I'll give them a try.
Happy Memorial Day Weekend. I'm hoping for some spontaneous fun...and sleeping in. Woo Hoo.

Hey congrats on your exercise walk! It's sometimes hard to get back into it once you've taken off for a bit, so way to go!!!

Go, Stace, on the walking! I too know how hard it is to fall off the exercise wagon and try to get back on. Why are some things so much easier to fall back into than others...hmmm. Anyway, keep up the good work!
