Mommy's Day

Tomorrow is Mothers Day. Where is my Mothers Day card, you may wonder? Sitting on my kitchen table...you better believe I'll be running home to get that in the mail. It's times like these that I wish I didn't live so far away from home. What would be great, is if VT and PA were a two hour drive apart, rather than 8. Then, I could take a day trip to go spend time with my family or visit the Green Mountains and Lake Champlain...or drop off my card that should have gone in the mail at least two days ago. Oh well.

I love my mom. I can say with all honesty that she is one of my best friends. Both of my parents are. I love to share the details of my life with my mom. She's always interested, and I never feel that she is faking that. (thank God for free nights and weekend cell phone plans). Even my friends growing up loved my mom...in fact my friend Leon still jokes about having a crush on her...and Angel wrote a great short story about my house and how welcoming it was.

Words to describe Elizabeth Mary Gagne', or Liz, or to me Mom....kind, sensitive, silly, listener, great cook, fun, beautiful, Christian, supportive, antiquer, and the list could go on...Happy Mothers Day!!!
