After reading Karen's comment on microwave s'mores I felt I would be dishonest and perhaps misleading in not sharing that I, too have made s'mores in the microwave. Especially when I worked with pre-schoolers...it was a fun snack to make for a special treat. Perhaps my point was more protesting the idea of paying like $6.00 for the s'more experience in a restaurant...anyway, yeah, real s'mores are where it's at...when not on Atkins of course. On the marshmellow subject, I would be one of those who sets the marshmellow on fire and makes the outside really black, then blow it out really really fast.
