Cookie Break
The weekend is off to a good start. I just got back from working the Cookie Break live remote with Lisa and Chris from the radio station. It was an early morning after not sleeping very well last night because of being up sick. Once I got going, though, I was fine. Chris and Lisa are fun people to do live remotes with...I think mostly because we are all "seasoned" live remote people, so it makes the event a no brainer. We were at Gretna Glen Camp in Mt. Gretna area and it was great to be outside. Actually, I seem to have gotten a little pink...first sunburn of the year, perhaps. I sort of miss working summer camps...you get to do so much fun outdoor stuff....
I am feeling a little guilt from eating some of the really good cookies they had out at camp. I guess you could say I gave myself a "cookie break" from Atkins.
Last night I went to my friend Valondas and a bunch of us played some party games...Blurt, Catch Phrase and Hoopla (a Cranium Game). We had a lot of fun. I brought along my new games, but it was more of a party game kind of night. Today I am going to my friends Trish and Linfords for a cook out and more games. I hope we play some version of Settler's today. I hope the weather stays nice. If it's nice out tomorrow, maybe I'll go for another hike. I'll have to wait and see. Now, I'm off to make taco salad and perhaps take a quick nap. Aren't weekends great?
