Baldoons

What better to do on a rainy, cold night then drive to Avondale with my friend Dave and visit my friends the Garsons. Last night, I finally got to meet their son Emmett, who is ADORABLE. I realized late in the night that I never actually held him. DUH, Stacey. Oh well, next time.

Dave was driving out to practice with his band formerly known as Senioritis, currently known as Oakland Shay. While Dave, Colin and Ana practiced, I got to spend time with Mike and Elisabeth Garson. It was great to get their perspective on some things I've been thinking about. It was also fun just to be goofy with Mike, Elisabeth, Colin, Dave and Ana when they were done with practice. One funny little conversation sprung from a word that Dave came up with...Baldoons. It is a word he came up with to describe bald people. Lots of random conversation took place.

Earlier in the evening, Mike and I were talking about how we have entered a new season where it seems like God has been stirring up some of us old friends from college to try to spend time together more often. I think that's wonderful.

Me too, wish I had been there. Maybe Elisabeth blabbed and told you what is going on with me this week. I will email you to fill you in.
