Impulsive...Obsessive
Two words that describe me pretty accurately. A third might be compulsive. I admit it. Sometimes I struggle with it, but overall, it can be an evil used for good.
I have a habit of needing to see new movies within the first week they are out. It used to be that I needed to see them the first day. I'm trying to wean myself from that. It's not that important, after all. Unless, of course, it's the Lord of the Rings. I had to get tickets for the Marathon, Trilogy Tuesday, because it was Lord of the Rings. Next Tuesday, I need to go to Best Buy to get Return of the King on DVD because they are also including a special collector's edition Entertainment Weekly LOTR edition. I MUST HAVE IT! See, this is where the compulsion comes in. With the obsession. I know, it's an illness. It could be worse. I only have a few of the action figures.
You see, Stacey and I are going to see Shrek 2, and it's a WHOLE DAY after the release of the movie. Pretty impressive, huh? C'mon, I waited an entire 24 hours. That's impressive for me. It's a big deal. Work with me, people. Alright, alright, I see you shaking your heads. I feel your pity. I accept it.
I'll let you know how the movie is tomorrow.

I'm lookinng forward to seeing Shrek and sneaking out of the office a little early...well not sneaking...we have permission and have worked/will work a gazillion+ hours this summer anyway.
I'm trying to decide if I will be wild and crazy and cheat and eat popcorn...c'mon it's Shrek...he's Green (see my blog).
